The company EMBALAŽA Maribor was founded on February 14, 1957. At that time, the company was registered for the production of conical soft and hard and cylindrical semi-hard tubes for the needs of the textile industry, for the production of round packaging (protective wraps, cartridges) and for the production of various paper products and cardboard packaging. Until 1973, the company dominated the production of cylindrical and conical tubes, and with the construction of the ``cardboard'' production unit in 1974, the production of packaging (also printed) made of cardboard and cardboard began to expand very quickly.
